Such a cool illustration. The shadow doesn't match up, but perhaps that was intentional?

Wow, very very beautiful!
It brings up weird feelings I prefer to hide...

Thanks!

The shadows does match up. The illustration has 2 light points. The light in the room and the light outside the window. If you trace the shadows you see they are all placed very precisely!

I did notice the two light sources. I was talking about the shadow cast against the far left wall, created by the person standing in front of the window.

The way the person is standing in the shadow differs from how they are actually standing. Their left arm would have some light coming through between the arm and the torso. The right arm would be flexed out slightly more so you could see a clear outline of the elbow. Also the shapes of the legs in the shadow would be slightly different due to the fact that the person has a support leg and a relaxed leg.

The shadow to me looked like a person who had their right arm straight down with their left hand in a pocket and carrying their weight on both legs evenly. So to me it seemed like it could be person's shadow, just taking the shape of someone else for some hidden reason that could be left up to interpretation.

But beyond that, I do agree that the shadows match up quite well, and the lighting for that matter.

This is really captivating. You can't help but wonder what it is they're queuing up to see. It's got to be something worth mounting those steep stairs without any railings. I'll bet some people risk taking a tumble. ; ) The elongated chair that sits empty in the corner is interesting too and the cast shadow from the figure at the window is beautiful. Maybe the light sources and their accompanying shadows aren't perfect but who cares? The piece works. It has an aura of mystery about it and a surreal feel that generates a myriad of stories.

Spectacular. It seems so simple yet it really s so complex, there is so much to discover in this image and yet it allows so much for the imagine. The idea has been bought to life so well. You have used multiple light sources to somewhat guide the viewers eyes around the canvas, allowing each detail to be looked at. It feels as if this is a tapestry of many images put together, each one beautiful in its own right.

Que buen concepto haz dado en esta obra, desde mi punto de vista, el final del camino de una rutinaria vida...
